At Valencia Health Center in Valencia, California, Courtney Kosnik is a gifted Family Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background. Courtney Kosnik, FNP-BC went to nursing school in Pennsylvania where she earned her BSN and worked in NJ for two years as a new graduate in the Emergency Department before moving to California with her husband. She then continued her career in the ER at Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance where she worked for six years and became a charge nurse in the ER, a Mobile Intensive Care Nurse, a Certified Emergency Nurse and won the Nurse Excellence Award for the Emergency Department in 2010. After wanting more experience with trauma patients, she began working at Harbor General in the ER to gain further experience with critical care patients.
In 2013 she began the Masters program at Walden University where she then graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Family Nurse Practitioner and earned acceptance into the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, and the Golden Key International Honor Society.
Courtney's 11 years spent working in the ER as well as her Master's degree and a passion for learning have prepared her for her role as a Nurse Practitioner where she hopes to continue caring for patients on a higher level.
She currently lives in Santa Clarita with her husband and two little boys and is excited to work with Dr. Navi and his staff at Valencia Center for Women's Health.
